· Each player roles the 3 dice and draws that number of tiles (one at a time) from the burlap sack. If playing with only 2 players, the player who rolls the lowest total (when all 3 dice are added together) will need to roll a second time (they will have to draw tiles for each roll). If the 2 players totals are the same on the first role, each player will roll one die and draw that number of tiles.
· As you draw each tile place it inside of the dealer bag (black velvet bag).
· After all players have drawn their tiles, the dealer will shake the bag and pour the tiles into the center of the table.
· Flip your timer over.
· Each player will have 60 seconds to write down any words or phrases they can find before time runs out.
· Points are awarded as follows:
· 10 points for the player who finds the most words and /or phrases.
· 7 points for the player who finds the longest word (no points awarded for ties).
· 1 point for every 2-letter word.
· 2 points for every 3-letter word.
· 3 points for every 4-letter word.
· 4 points for every 5-letter word.
· 5 points for every 6 or more letter words.
· 5 points for any 3 to 4-word phrases.
· 10 points for any phrases that use at least 5 words.
First player to reach 111 points wins the game.
Tiles
· Letter tiles – Slide them on the board once flipped as needed but be careful your opponents are always watching. (80 per sack)
· "?" Question Mark tiles – Can be anything you want them to be. (5 per sack)
· Red Tiles – Draw a red tile and your opponent or opponents get to decide on a dare that you must do to continue in the game. Once you complete the dare place the red tile back in the sack. (2 per sack)
mumsy Bonus
· When the letters are revealed during each round, the first player to identify the letters that spell mumsy and yells “mumsy” will have until the count of 5 by their opponents to pull the letters from the pile.
· If the person pulls the letters in time, they are awarded 10 points.
· If the player cannot locate the letters in 5 seconds or less, they must complete a dare to continue.
· Let’s be fair here folks…your count to 5 as the player pulls the letters should be in the “1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi” format, to ensure at least 5 seconds have been given.
